How to measure
Chest width is measured flat across the shirt, one inch below the armhole. Double it for the full chest circumference.
Body length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
The easiest method
Grab a t-shirt you already own and love the fit of. Lay it flat, measure the chest width and the body length, and match it to the table above. That beats guessing every time.
